Submission Agreement

I have read and agree to the terms of the entry form for Sooke Fine Arts Show 2010. I understand that any work submitted will be for sale, and if sold, the monies collected on my behalf will be given to me after a commission of 20% (30% for Gift Shop retail items) is paid to the Sooke Fine Arts Society.

I also agree that I will not hold Sooke Fine Arts Show (or Society) or the SEAPARC Leisure Complex, any of the members, staff or volunteers legally liable for any damage, loss or injury to my person or property sustained by reason of an accident or incident occurring during the adjudication process, setting up, taking down and during Sooke Fine Arts Show.

All insurance coverage on the submitted works is solely my responsibility as the artist.

The Sooke Fine Arts Society acknowledges artists’ copyright but retains the right to photograph any entry and use any photographs taken of artwork for publishing and promotions related to Sooke Fine Arts Show. Images taken of submitted work may be used for promotion of Sooke Fine Arts Show or future Call to Artists. Artwork will be credited if photos are used for the above purposes.
