The bass, piano and drum trio Kiki Londo is made up of father and son duo, Patrick and Gordon Miller (bass & piano respectively), and good friend Robert Fisher on drums. - “a high-energy jazz band with strong rock influence,” Kiki Londo plays covers of jazz classics, including Chick Corea and Duke Ellington among other greats.

New for 2009, the Artz4Boomers is a chance to get a guided tour through the gallery by Paul Peregal, Contemporary Painting Expert from Victoria College of Art & Design. Find out about the various techniques used in the works displayed – ask questions about the style and explore the possibilities for taking classes to help you find a way to express the artist within you.

New for 2009, this evening has been especially created for the teens. Text your friends and have them meet you for an evening that includes a host of performances from local youth musicians, join in on painting a mural that will be later displayed at Edward Milne High School while also enjoy some delicious snacks. Check out the artwork displayed and also see what your friends have on exhibit in the Youth Gallery.
The Art of Wine -- A Tasting: Saturday, August 1st from 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Enjoy tasting a select variety of both red and white wines, plus cheese pairing for both red and white wine. You will receive a tasting glass and extensive tasting notes, as well. Price is $10 plus admission to the show. Wine will also be available for purchase by the glass to enjoy while touring the show and the artist demonstrations, and while listening to The Paul Wainwright Band.
Sculpture Class with David Hunwick

Spend the afternoon creating an incredible sculpture made with cardboard & hot glue
David Hunwick has been producing, and exhibiting sculptures for over 27 years and his work can be found in public parks, in and around public buildings, and in private collections in the UK, Canada, Australia, United States and Jersey. David was selected to take part in the New Contempories exhibition at the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester, and exhibited regularly at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh. Recently, David won the best 3D award in the Sidney Art Show in 2007 and an honourable mention at the Look Exhibition in 2008 in Victoria.

Art Raffle
Original works of art will be raffled off during the 2009 show. Tickets are available only at the show for $2 each, or 3 for $5. Drawings for the winning tickets will take place at the close of the show on August 3rd.

Silent Auction
All auction bidding will be by secret bid, and show visitors may enter as many bids as they desire at the show. In case of a tied winning bid, a blind draw of the winning bid entries will determine the final winner.
