SILENT AUCTION HOW TO PLACE YOUR BID
Just fill out a form with your name and contact information and bid and slip it into the box of the item for which you are bidding. For daily auction items, bidding closes one hour before the close of the show that day.
For the three show-long auction items, bidding closes at the end of the show. You may increase your bid at any time by dropping in a higher bid.
In the case of tied winning bids, the actual winner will be determined by a blind drawing of the winning, tied bids. Winning bidders who are not present will be notified and may pick up their piece at the purchasers’ table during the show, or on Tuesday, August 5 between 10am and 6pm.
Are you from out of town? Arrangements can be made for your art to be shipped to you by the gift shop. If you place the winning bid you will be contacted to discuss costs and delivery arrangements.
Tax Deduction
The Sooke Fine Arts Society is a Registered Society in British Columbia, incorporated under the Society Act, Number S-50747. Purchases exceeding the value may qualify for a tax deduction as a donation to the SFAS for the amount paid in excess of the value of the piece.
